How do I use the collaboration stations?
Answer
Collaboration Station Policies:
1. First come, first serve.
2. Stations are for 2 or more people.
3. If you are sitting at a station but not using it, you must give the space to students who would like to utilize it.
How to Connect a Laptop or Tablet to the Station:
To use the table, make sure the table is on. To turn on, look for the power button on the media well in the center of the table. If the light is white, press the button once to activate the table and the light will become green.

You will need a VGA connection on your computer. If you have HDMI output on your laptop, you can check out an adapter from the Circulation Desk. We have USB-C and Lightning / mini HDMI adapters to HDMI that might work to adapt apple devices.
-
Laptops are connected to the tables using PUCKS.
-
Open the media well and remove a puck.
-
Connect the Puck to your laptop (the Puck will glow).
-
Share what's on your laptop by pressing on the Puck.
-
To disconnect your device, press the off button and disconnect the Puck.
Troubleshooting
To connect to a table using a dual monitor setup, you may need to reduce your screen resolution in order for your computer to display correctly. If you encounter issues, please follow these steps:
- In the display settings for your computer, set the resolution to 1366 X 768 or lower.
- Adjust the refresh rate to 60hz.
